Product Detail

CAPG-A2 Parallel Groove Connector are mainly used for transmitting current between the interconnected conductors, for example for connection loops on terminal poles or tapping off bus-bars to equipment on substations.

Special designed screw hole and arc shape of the body allow clamp to adjusts to different cable size on each side; Materials of bolt and nut are optional depend on customer request. Options including Hot-dip galvanized steel and Stainless steel ; Pressure pad is applied to achieve uniform pressure along the clamp.

Our design fulfills also the following important criteria:

Holding strength: An adequate mechanical holding strength is achieved. In case of higher values two or more PG-clamps should be used in series.

Corrosion resistance: Maximum corrosion resistance is achieved by using a clamp material that matches with that of the conductor, for example a corrosion-resistant AlMgSi alloy for conductors made of aluminium, al-alloy etc.

Gross-grooved clamp channels enhance both mechanical pullout strength and electrical conductivity.

The installation and use is simple, wire-clamps strength is high, without any magnetic hysteresis
