The CPTAU pre-insulated bimetal lug is used to establish connection between LV-ABC cable and electrical equipments. Palm is made of 99.9% pure copper and sleeve is made of 99.6% pure aluminium. For connecting bundle conductor to a copper pad or to transformer studs. Stripping length marked on the body of the lugs. Lugs ensures sealing on the cable giving 6kV under water. Colour coded and marked for different sizes. The pre-insulated lugs are suitable for insulated stranded aluminum or copper conductors. Stripped cables are inserted up to the end, crimping according to the marks with appropriate crimping die size over the insulation. The electrical contact and the sealing by the ring are achieved during the crimp process.
